Richard is a fantastic mentor and I've enjoyed the chats we had, which have increased my confidence and got me thinking about how my values will feed into my future roles. Thank you also for helping me to navigate the sudden posting change to Brunei halfway through the course, which completely changed the direction of our conversations.

Lulua has provided structure and focus and has a gift for a particular type of listening that allows a person to ignite their own thinking. She has been an energising force to spend time with and I am excited for all her future positive impact.

Just want to say a big thank you to Jen, I really appreciate all the time she gave me and the confidence I've found going forward and I'm excited for the progression that will hopefully come with it these next few months.

It's not only helped my mentee explore opportunities and growth, but as a first-time mentor, I've gained valuable insight into mentoring/coaching and supporting an individual, as well as gained confidence. I myself was a spouse and I remember the impact that my mentor had on me and how it helped with my ability to realise my full potential. Its been a pleasure to see my mentee gain in confidence and I would absolutely recommend the program to both mentees and mentors alike.

I see much of this programme being about confidence and assurance. All the mentees are brilliant but lack confidence. I fell this programme gives them this confidence.

I loved meeting and getting to know my mentee. I feel I actually learnt as much from her as she gained from me. It's a really reciprocal thing to do for each other's development. I very much hope we'll keep in touch, and she knows she will always have me in her network, rooting for her career and development.

Being new to mentoring, I wasn't sure whether I'd have anything valuable to share. However, after meeting my mentee and building a relationship, I realised the match was spot on we had lots to talk about and work on together. I will be keeping in touch with her going forward to offer peer support and friendship.

I love this programme. It is very humbling to get an insight into the family life of those who keep us all safe and the impact that their job has on their loved ones. I was honoured to be able to lend an ear to my mentee to help her think about how she would like to develop her career in the future.

Talking to him also made me realise the project you had initiated with the Owl Centre could also help me and I apologise for missing the feedback session, but that was a game changer too. As a group we chat roughly every week and hope to all meet up soon, easy as there’s only a few of us. It was good to hear other people say recently that they’d been on the course too.

I’ve been working in my LinkedIn and collating info to send to Rusila to help with compiling a CV, so I need to push on with that.

In July 2020 my family and I moved to Virginia USA to take up an international posting with HM Forces. Because of the training I had with AMS I was able to use those skills to find a job over here in the US. I am forever grateful for the initial help from RFS and AMS for re-launching my career back in 2018 after a career break to raise my family. I now have a job I love that allows me the flexibility to balance all aspects of my life, and, importantly, I have the confidence and self-belief I need to continue to progress my career.

I was finding it really hard to gain employment even with a Masters in Business, I registered with the Liquid Workforce at RFS and within 2 weeks I was placed in Target Acquisition with Barclays and it has given me an amazing opportunity to establish a career.

Wow, what can I say. My experience has been transformative in many positive ways and I feel like a completely different person to when I started the sessions. I highly recommend the RFS coaching programme to anyone, particularly Military Spouses who are feeling a little lost and dis-jointed. I am forever grateful that I had this wonderful opportunity to grow, develop and feel empowered in my life, after all that Military life can throw at us! I feel fulfilled by the sessions, my life has direction again and encourage everyone to take advantage of this amazing programme. It will change your life! As a coach, I have witnessed first-hand the positive transformations that occur when dedicated individuals receive coaching tailored to their specific needs. It's truly heartening to see the impact of coaching on the professional development of military spouses. The gratitude and sense of accomplishment that they express at the end of our coaching sessions are immensely fulfilling and the reason while I volunteer to coach.
